From the beaches at Merewether and Bar Beach through to Wallsend, New Lambton and Charlestown. Newcastle housing stock swings from federation weatherboard to post-war brick to new infill, and each one wants a different approach when you start opening walls. We work on all of it.
Our home patch. We are based at Edgeworth, so Cardiff, Glendale, Warners Bay, Toronto, Belmont and Morisset are all a short run. Lake frontage and sloping blocks are common here, which means retaining, level changes and decks that need real engineering rather than a standard detail.
Maitland, Rutherford, Thornton and out through Cessnock and the vineyards. Plenty of new estates going up alongside older character homes that need sympathetic work. Flood overlay affects a lot of this area, and it changes what you can build and how high, so we check it before quoting.
Medowie, Raymond Terrace, Nelson Bay and the coastal villages. Salt air is the defining factor up this way. It eats fixings, flashings and the wrong cladding, so material selection matters far more here than it does inland.
